Summer of Fun in Ballarat with Peter Ford

As part of the Summer of Fun in Ballarat 2021 campaign by VisitBallarat and Commerce Ballarat, PFC hosted two fun-filled, educational events at the iconic Ballarat Convent Gallery up on Victoria Street the that sold out!


Sacred Meat in Sacred Places with Peter Ford (Saturday 20th February)

Peter and Richard Cornish took attendees through the procceses of boning, carving and explaining the parts of various animals.
Dean was out back grilling the cuts of meat on coals which each guests got to enjoy, followed by a beautiful lunch box lunch and a glass of Summerfield shiraz!

We sourced local and regional produce from:

Great Ocean Road Ducks,

Milking Yard Chickens,

Ballark Lamb,

Western Plains Pork and

Summerfield shiraz

The True Story of Oysters and Champagne with the Hungry Gentlemen and Peter Ford (Saturday 20th February)

The @hungrygentlemenau (Richard Cornish and Max Allen) food and wine experts, educators and entertainers shared their wisdome and experiences with us.

Pete was busy shucking the delicious @wapengorockswildorganicoysters, and guests sipping @taltarni sparkling, whilst the Hungry Gentlement shared the history of oysters and champagne in Australia.
